ComedySportz is the leader in educational improvisation. We teach students of all ages, run the
largest teen improv program in the United States, and have been repeatedly praised in the educational press.
Improvisation teaches:
• saying "yes" instead of no
• sharing
• listening
• focus
• accepting other people's ideas
• creativity
• self-confidence
• adapting to change
Your students will begin by participating in a private 90-minute improv
workshop on the mainstage of our theatre, taught by one of our seasoned
professional improvisers & instructors
After the workshop......Enjoy the largest made-to-order pizza you have ever seen with choice of two toppings and a fresh green salad on the side. Each student also gets their choice from our wide selection of vintage sodas in glass bottles.
We allow between 45-60 minutes for dining and no kid ever goes away hungry. For a small additional fee we can also provide a dessert buffet service. Our concession area will be open for additional purchase of gourmet desserts and beverages.
THEN, it's back into the theatre for a classic ComedySportz Match at the regularly scheduled evening show.
It’s not comedy about sports; it’s comedy PLAYED as a sport! Two
teams of our professional improvisers compete for laughs and points in
this hilarious comedy competition. It’s complete with a referee,
uniforms, artificial turf, pennants, an organist and even the National
Anthem!
There are fouls in ComedySportz to keep the show from being
boring or in poor taste; there’s even one to make a player apologize
for telling a lame joke! When was the last time you saw that? The show
is always completely interactive, and suitable for everyone.
The audience helps pick what games the teams will play, yells suggestions and ultimately decides which team is the evening’s winner.
