ComedySportz Los Angeles teaches improv comedy classes and workshops in short form and long form improvisation.
We provide a safe environment where
participants are encouraged to take chances and stretch their skills in
short form, long form and various styles. Our improv is not about sports, and it's not just for guys. It's improv for everyone,

At ComedySportz University we provide a safe environment where our
students can use improv to be more confident in all areas of life.
Our classes are great for actors, but you don't need to be one. They're also a great way to meet people and improve your people skills. You'll pick up skills for auditions, interviews, or even first dates! Plus all of our students get to see our shows for free, so there's an opportunity to introduce improv to all kinds of people in your life.
Improvisation classes are taught in multiple levels, and
include a showcase at the 500 level. We also offer "One-night Toolbox Intensives"
in both basic improv and specialty topics. Adult improv classes are
for those 17 and above. You can find out more

For actors--we are the premier short form company in
Los Angeles, and the place to study if you want to improve your
commercial audition technique. We also do some amazing long form improv
shows and occasionally offer classes in long form as well.

One-night Toolbox Intensives
Don't have time to take a multi-session class? Take one of our Toolbox Intensives for a quick-bite improv experience. In three hours, we "cram"
the basics of CSz improv fundamentals! These intensives can also serve as placement workshops for students with experience from another improv company.

Improv Classes
Level 101: Improv Toolbox
Learn the fun behind CSz-style improv in a relaxed and
supportive environment. In this six-week class we focus on trusting yourself, story telling and structure, developing an improv vocabulary and ensemble-building. Meets
once a week for 2 1/2 hours per session.

Level 201: Narrative Through Characters and Relationships
Learn how to create characters and relationships to fuel your comedy and stories. Prerequisite: 101 or approval from Education Program Director. Meets

Level 301: Spacework and Physical Story Telling
This level will encourage you to relate to your improv environment, make physical choices and use your body as a tool for story telling. Prerequisite: 101 or approval from Education Program Director.

Session C: Tuesdays, July 12-August 2 2016, 7-9:30 PM
Level 401: Performances and Games
Learn advanced narrative and short-form improv games in the style of
ComedySportz. This level will build to a final performance for friends
and family. Prerequisite: Levels 101-301 or approval from Education Program Director. Meets
once a week for 2 1/2 hours per session.
Tuition: $300 ($25 off with early enrollment on line) / Eight-week course

Level 501: Genre Toolbox
This level will encourage you to develop the tools to make strong
stylized scene choices with no research required. Prerequisite: Levels 101-401 or approval from Education Program Director. Meets
once a week for 2 1/2 hours per session.

Long Form Improv Classes
Long form curious? We occasionally offer workshops that are great for short form
improvisers who want to use their acting skills and expand their
