ComedySportz is L.A.’s longest running show for good reason – it’s
fun, friendly and skillful. Our acclaimed company brings this same
approach to ComedySportz University with a focus on skill-building and
fun.
Our improv is not about sports, and it's not just for guys. It's improv for everyone, at every skill level. We provide a safe environment where
participants are encouraged to take chances and stretch their skills. At ComedySportz University we provide a safe environment where our students can use improv to be more confident in all areas of life.
Our classes are great for actors, but you don't need to be one. They're also a great way to meet people and improve your people skills. You'll pick up skills for auditions, interviews, or even first dates! Plus all of our students get to see our shows for free, so there's an opportunity to introduce improv to all kinds of people in your life.
Improvisation classes are taught in three levels, and include a showcase at the Senior level. We also offer "Cram Sessions" in both basic improv and specialty topics. Adult improv classes are for those 17 and above. You can find out more

For actors--We are the premier shortform company in Los Angeles, and the place to study if you are wanting to improve your commercial auditon technique. We also do some amazing longform improv shows and occasionally offer classes in longform as well.
Stand-up comedy classes are taught several times per year by professional comedian Tom Clark. This class also includes a showcase.
Master classes are taught throughout the year by master teachers from across the country. Each year we offer intensives in everything from scenework to characters to musical improv. Participants in these classes should be experienced improvisers with no less than 5 years experience.
The Rec League is just like a bowling or kickball league in that it's played for fun. Teams of improvisers play ComedySportz on our mainstage in three seasons throughout the year.
