Allen Simpson

Allen is the composer and co-lyricist of the award-winning musical FELLOWSHIP!, a musical parody of THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING.  He wrote songs for AN AMERICAN CAROL, the latest feature film from director David Zucker (AIRPLANE!, POLICE SQUAD).  Allen created music for the pilot episode of THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM on Comedy Central and was composer for the video sketch show ACCEPTABLE TV on VH-1.  He also wrote music for the DVD release of TENACIOUS D IN: THE PICK OF DESTINY, starring Jack Black.   Allen's had music on DICK CLARK'S NEW YEAR'S ROCKIN' EVE, ABC's THE WAYNE BRADY SHOW, and in several shows for Channel101.com.  He played guitar and did live sound effects on the PAX improv comedy show WORLD CUP COMEDY and was the improv keyboardist for the WAYNE BRADY & FRIENDS national tour for three years.   In Los Angeles, he plays for many comedy groups such as ComedySportz, Theatresports, Second City, IO West and occasionally The Groundlings.
